| The batteries in your alarm control
panel should be checked about every 2 years. If you have
a commercial fire alarm the fire code requires that your
batteries be replaced every 2 years. |
| Test your smoke
sensors |
| Weather your smoke sensors are part of your alarm
system or not you are required to test them no less than
once per year. If you own a commercial fire alarm
they must be tested and documented by factory trained or
certified personnel. |
